Calendar Descriptions

The Ladue Schools calendar listing represents all of the events scheduled in the Ladue School District. Below is a brief description of what events are available for each calendar grouping.

How To Use The Ladue Schools (Google) Calendars

Locating Events

Each school calendar contains District level events as well as the events for that school. School level events are denoted by a specific color while District level events are denoted by a dark gray color on ALL Ladue Schools Google Calendars.

Note: When subscribing to school calendars please be sure to subscribe to the district calendar as well, as this is the most accurate calendar for district level events.

Viewing An Event

Find the event of interest, click that event once to produce a call out with information such as "When" and "Where" the event will occur. In some cases a description or additional information for that event will be shown as well.

Choosing Different Calendar Views

Each Ladue Schools calendar contains 3 different tabs in the upper right corner labeled "Week," "Month," and "Agenda" that represent a different layout for viewing the calendar. Simply click any of these tabs for the desired view.

Week View - Displays an hourly view for each day of the selected week.
Month View - Displays all the events for entire month that is selected.
Agenda View - Displays a text view of the calendar and it's events, this view is not limited to a particular week or month.

Filtering Calendar Events

For the Master Academic & Master District calendars ALL available events are displayed simultaneously. In order to show the available calendar listing click the arrow to the right of the "Agenda" tab. After clicking this arrow un-check all unwanted school events.

The available calendars are listed with a specific color coding that corresponds to the colors of the events on the calendar. Simply un-check the boxes next to unwanted calendars to remove them from the calendar view.

Subscribing To Ladue Schools (Google) Calendars

Subscriptions allow you to view Ladue Schools (Google) Calendars in other applications. Below are some instructions on how to subscribe to our calendars with some commonly used devices/applications.

Google Calendar

• Adding A Single Event - Select an event by clicking on the event title. Once the event is selected click the "copy to my calendar" link. That particular event should now be available on your personal calendar.

• Adding An Entire Calendar - Locate and click the Google add calendar button in the bottom right corner of the calendar. Once clicked your browser will open a new tab or window, if you are not logged in to your Google account the new window will prompt you to do so. Immediately after logging in you should see a pop up window labeled "Do you want to add these calendars." All calendars that you did not filter will be displayed in this list with a button to the right of the calendar name labeled "Add." Click the "Add" button for any Ladue Schools calendars you would like to add to your personal calendar and you're done!

Mobile Devices

Apple iOS (IPhone): You can subscribe to calendars that use the iCalendar (.ics) format. Many calendar-based services support calendar subscriptions, including iCloud, Yahoo!, Google, and the Mac OS X iCal application. Subscribed calendars are read-only. You can read events from subscribed calendars on iPhone, but you can’t edit events or create new ones. Subscribe to a calendar: Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, then tap Add Account. Tap Other, then tap Add Subscribed Calendar. You can also subscribe to an iCal (or other .ics) calendar published on the web, by tapping a link to the calendar.

Apple iOS (IPhone/IPod): To Unsubscribe to a calendar: Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, then tap Subscribed Calendars > Select the calendar to remove, then tap Delete Account.

Subscription Listing

In order to subscribe to one or more of the Ladue Schools (Google) calendars use the addresses below. The formats for subscription links are as follows:

Google: This link is for Google/Gmail users. This allows you to simply click the link and receive a prompt to add the calendar to you own personal Google calendar.You must be logged in to add the calendar. If you are not logged in you will receive a login prompt to enter a Google username and password. Once entered you will then receive the prompt to add the desired calendars.

iCalendar (.ics): This link provides the universal Apple, Inc. calendar format of the Ladue Schools (Google) calendars which can be used by several email and calendar programs, including Microsoft Outlook, Apple iCal, Windows Live Calendar, Yahoo Calendar, Facebook and countless others. Simply right click the "iCalendar" link copy and paste into the email client of your choice.

RSS (Really Simple Syndication): Provides a way to deliver web content in opt-in feeds. Ladue Schools (Google) calendar feeds allow for the delivery of calendar events to your computer or mobile device as soon as it is published using an RSS Reader. To use our calendar RSS feeds simply right click the RSS link for the appropriate calendar and paste into the RSS reader of your choice.

Printing Calendar Events

To print a Ladue Schools (Google) calendar simply click the print icon in the right corner of the calendar.

Once clicked a print window will appear providing options such as Print/Date Range, Font size, Orientation and Print Attendees. All three views can be printed and can be seen in the preview window before actually printing a copy of the desired dates.
